The game’s publisher, Dotemu, has revealed that fan-favorites Clark Still, Ralf Jones, and Leona Heidern will be joining the fray as playable characters. Throwing it back to their iconic origins, Clark and Ralph first graced our screens in SNK’s 1986 title, Ikari Warriors. A few years later, they made their Metal Slug debut in the 2006 installment Metal Slug 6 and they’re back to make some tactical mayhem alongside Leona, who joined the crew during The King of Fighters ’96 and stepped into the Metal Slug universe with Metal Slug XX.
The playable lineup is shaping up nicely, with Marco, Tarma, Eri, and Fiolina already confirmed, bringing the current character count to seven.
